Michele is an artist who has rediscovered her lifetime dream and passion for painting. Michele has studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology while working for the Vice President for Academic Affairs . She is now retired and a full time artist and student. She has studied botanical water color and enjoys painting flowers as well as land and sea scapes. She acknowledges her late father Carmine Thomas Pecora for the artistic talent she inherits from him. Her work has been exhibited at Old Westbury Gardens, Old Westbury, NY; The Garden City Library, LI, NY; The Carole La Plant Gallery at St. Francis of Assisi Church, NYC; the Principi Art Barn, Amagansett, NY; Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate, Amagansett, NY; Roanoke Vineyards, Riverhead, NY; Dilberto Vineyards, Jamesport, NY; the 220 Gallery, NYC; and at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She is a member of the Long Beach Art League and has exhibited at the Long Beach and Rockville Centre Libraries. She is now a member of the Southampton Art Association and the Good Ground Artist Group and has exhbitied with both groups on the East End of Long Island.
